How long have you been in the industry/training?
I have been in the industry training for over 10 years and have been working within the industry for 10.
Why are you passionate about the fitness industry?
I first got into this industry determined to achieve my own transformation. On my journey is when I first met Tim, who went on to become my Personal Trainer. What he helped me achieve was not just a physical change, but most importantly one that has remained with me for the past 10 years. That health and fitness is not a short-term change but one that needs to be for the remainder of our time.
What I love most about this industry, is the ability to help people make these changes, changes that seem so out of reach, yet if we just had the right tools and support, are actually closer then you think.
Working with my clients to help them reach their goals, no matter how big or small, that is why I love this industry
What is your specialty?
I like to see myself as a jack of most trades and not limit myself to one specialty. In saying that I believe my best work is with;
What are your biggest achievements in the industry?
My biggest achievement would have to be my own personal transformation. From an overweight teenager to figure competitor. Now a mum of two small children, I can educate them and pass on my knowledge so they can lead a healthy life.
Who is your personal ideal client
Being a mother and a past figure competitor, I would have to say that they are the two types of clientele that I love to work with.
In regards to your ideal client above, why are you passionate in helping these people?
Being a mum has taught me a lot. We live in a society that makes mothers feel like they have to give up their entire life once they become one. I’m a true believer in that, for a mother to be able to look after her kids she needs to look after herself. And at times that means putting themselves first. being a full time mum, working, running a house hold and then trying to live a healthy lifestyle is hard work. Being able to help mothers achieve their goals and be a good example for their family is why I love working them.
Having stepped on stage multiple times before, there was never any doubt that my journey as a coach would lead me to working with clients wanting to pursue that path.
It’s a long journey that requires a lot of time, patience, determination and perseverance from both client and coach but the end result is all worth. The smile on my clients face knowing that we have done everything we could do them in the best shape of their life and on that stage is why I love the process so much.
